Rock with the new hula hoop trend
It works your
rear, burns fat and speeds up your metabolism.
The rock ring has
come back in a new form and has become the hottest fitness trend in the USA.
Here are the best exercises and the hottest looking clothes to practice them
in.
Do you remember
the hula-hoop of your childhood?
Now it is back-as a hip workout with a new name: hula ring.
It is the hottest
work out in the USA and UK. This time it promises to stay in place by a special
grip and a more stable weight. The
only thing one has to do is practice, practice and practice.
The hula ring was
used in Egypt 3000 years ago, back then they used dried, woven grape vines. In
Australia they used bamboo hoops.
In 1958 came the first plastic hoops in the USA and in two months sold
over 25 million. The hula hoop
trend has gone up and down but a couple of years ago the trend has been gaining
in popularity. Performance artists
in California are among the loyal followers. It was there that Christabel Zamor
from San Francisco saw the hula hoop. She tried it and became addicted to it,
and now she is the hula girl full time. She teaches and performs all over the
world. Her goal is to get people to swing there hips to happiness, health and a
thinner body. She is proof that
this work out is effective.
ÒBefore I started
to hula I was an overweight, introvert academic. When I first started I was not good at it, but I persevered
and practiced in the park a couple of hours every day. As a result I am strong in both body
and mind and have the confidence to show my sensuality in shows all over the
world. It wasnÕt just the calories that fell away, but also anger, frustration
and poor discipline. I appreciate
much more now; my self, my life and my surroundings. There is also the added
benefit of a better love life with my husbandÓ.
Even though It is
mostly women who hula, there are quite a few men who have found a way to
fitness with this work out. It works for all ages. Christabel has had clients
between 13 and 85. It does not matter what kind of body type one has either.
Hula aerobics is
training for the whole body, and is great for increasing ones metabolism. You
burn more than 100 calories in just ten minutes. Bring out the hula ring and enjoy the outdoors this summer
with many fun moments in the fresh air by yourself or with your kids. The hula ring gives a stronger, thinner
body, better balance and more swing in the bedroom.
Rock ON!!
