Although HoopGirl hoops and hoopdancing today is light worlds from the original branded Hula Hoop and the 50's fad, I still feel compelled to give a shout out to Richard Knerr, the co-founder of the Wham-O company who died today. I am so grateful for his work~ which introduced the concept of using a plastic ring for fun ~ to the mainstream world! Thank you for your pioneering work Richard~ blessings to you...
