This morning's raw smoothie delight:
Morning Cha Cha!
1 head kale (leaves only)
1 cup water
2 plump ripe figs
1 container of raspberries
1 teaspoon of agave nectar
1/2 a bunch of fresh spearamint leaves
*blend and enjoy! Yum yum! I think adding that extra bit of sweetness really balanced out the kale nicely.
Finally, go to my morning hoop practice today as well! I got all dressed up into some booty shorts and a small top to really get into the mood for Burning Man. It really makes such a huge difference for me to dress up for myself while hooping, such a delight! It brings out a whole other playful energy.
I played with all kinds of shapes while swining the hoop in my hands, lots of left handed moves, Spunk reversals in the inflow and outflow, some with my hand and some with my leg! That was fun. Forward jump throughs, all kinds of body breaks with leg lifts, air massage, slow motion balancing and twirls, a few isolations and step throughs with kicks. The hour flew by SO fast and my whole body loved it. I really felt my whole body warm and very happy with all the movements. The mirror propped against the door also helped with my alignment, especially opening my chest and torso.
While I hooped, I did take a moment to check myself out in the mirror and it was so great. I totally love my body. I don't know if it is all these miracle practices which are just opening my mind, or if my body has indeed changed, but I honestly really like my shape! This has been an ongoing thing for me... specifically my thighs and abs. It isn't that I didn't like myself, as much as I had this emotional baggage tied up with those areas that I guess didn't let me see myself clearly. As I clear out the old programing, it has been really nice to just feel so much self-acceptance and love. Life is sweet!
